I'm a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and my career has run in three chapters. The first was technical: structures, composites and certification across civil and defence programmes, from the A350 to Tempest, taking designs from concept through analysis to manufacture. The second was leading delivery: running multidisciplinary engineering teams on multi million pound aircraft projects, where I learned that the hardest problems on a programme are rarely the technical ones.
The third chapter is the current one. As Head of Business Development at Morson Praxis, I lead structured business development for an aerospace, defence and marine engineering consultancy: market intelligence across the UK industrial landscape, campaign driven market entry, and strategic partnerships, most recently the design engineering MoU signed with iCOMAT at Farnborough 2026.
The through line is that I treat markets the way I was trained to treat structures. Decompose the problem, understand where the loads actually go, then build something that holds. It works better than charisma, and it lasts longer. The method doesn't care about the sector; I've since run it into marine and energy markets and it holds.

Fellow, Royal Aeronautical Society.
Speaking on industrial strategy and market entry for engineering businesses, most recently to a Royal Navy air engineering audience on crewed and uncrewed fleets.
The fastest route is LinkedIn. I'm interested in conversations about growing engineering businesses, advisory work, and writing for publication.
